TERMS OF SERVICE
The terms that govern your use of this website and the information published on it.
The terms that govern your use of this website and the information published on it.
This website is operated by Empire State Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning ("Empire State Mechanical", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
This site describes the heating, cooling, installation, maintenance, and replacement services we offer across Staten Island, Brooklyn, and New Jersey. It is provided for general information. Service descriptions, availability, equipment options, and promotions can change at any time without notice.
Nothing on this website is a binding quote, estimate, or offer of a fixed price. Equipment sizing, labor, permits, site conditions, and access all affect what a job costs. A firm price comes only from a written estimate issued by Empire State Mechanical after we have assessed the property, and it is subject to the terms and expiration stated on that estimate.
Any figures, rates, financing terms, or promotional offers shown here are illustrative, subject to availability and credit approval where applicable, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
Requests submitted through this site, by phone, or by email are requests — an appointment exists once we confirm it with you directly. We aim to answer emergency calls around the clock, but response times depend on weather, road conditions, call volume, parts availability, and safe access to the equipment, and we cannot guarantee a specific arrival time.
To let us do the work, you agree to give accurate information about the property and the equipment, to provide safe and lawful access to it, and to tell us about hazards or conditions we should know about.
Work we actually perform is governed by the estimate, invoice, service agreement, or maintenance plan you sign, together with the manufacturer's warranty on any equipment installed. Those documents — not this website — define the scope of work, the workmanship warranty, and what is excluded. Where a document conflicts with this page, that document controls for the work it covers.
The content on this site — text, layout, graphics, logos, illustrations, and code — belongs to Empire State Mechanical or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, print, and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell, or use the content commercially, or use our name or logo, without written permission. Manufacturer names and brand marks belong to their respective owners.
You agree not to:
This site may link to, or load content from, outside services — manufacturers, financing partners, font and weather providers, and others. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
This website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete, current, or accurate at any given moment.
Nothing here is professional advice for your specific system. HVAC equipment involves electricity, gas, refrigerant, and combustion; do not rely on general information from this site to diagnose or repair it yourself. Call a qualified technician. This disclaimer applies to the website, and is separate from any warranty we give in writing on work we perform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empire State Mechanical and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or property damage, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this website. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Empire State Mechanical from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising out of your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York State, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may revise these terms at any time. The revision date at the top of the page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
